| Greetings in the glorious name of Jesus Christ From us all at “ Encounters Ministries International (EMI).” We have been traveling from Tulsa to the East coast to the West coast From the North Chicago to South Austin preaching and teaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. God has been confirming His Word with signs following. He is so good to us all! Here at EMI, we have been seeking God for His plan for the upcoming year. We are so excited about the magnitude of what God is saying regarding the harvest of this age. Wow! The body of Christ has much to look forward to. The doomsday prophets cry out with fear but God’s voice is declaring victory! We are at the start of the greatest outpouring of God’s Spirit history has ever recorded. This is the Day we’ve been waiting for! I am talking about the former and latter rain coming together – glory! We cried out “Send the rain, send the rain!” and He is doing it! We are seeing such a move of God personally and corporately in our offices, among staff and friends. The fruit of the Spirit is manifesting in a wondrous way among His people. We are seeing that although there has been many trials, heartbreaking events, and losses we do not even like to speak of, God in His wisdom, has taken them and produced fruit unto righteousness in us. What a wonderful GOD! He takes the attack and obstacles the devil sends to defeat us with and uses them to bring forth His glorious likeness in us. This great move of God, which we are in right now, is bringing forth the FEAR of the Lord. It is calling us all to a greater surrender of our lives as God’s Spirit brings us to a higher place in Him. We must place no confidence in the flesh. Holiness and sanctification come through Jesus Christ, “He who knew no sin became sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God through Him.” – 2 Cor. 5:21. It is the desire of every child of God to live a pure life. (Or at least should be the desire of every child of God). Through the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ we are redeemed from the curse of the law. We also are free from the dictates of the flesh, but until we come to the full stature of Christ or receive our glorified bodies, we will always have the opportunity to miss it, to fail, and to sin. Therefore beloved of God, trust in His finished work at Calvary. Trust in His love for you and in His Word that promises that the work, which He has begun He will finish. Think about this – we cannot place our faith towards the attainment of the fullness of God in or by our own works of righteousness. We cannot fear that we will lose our right standing with God when we fall short in times of temptation and weakness. So beloved of God, we place no confidence in the flesh whether it be gifts, talents, accomplishments, OR failures, sins and infirmities. The focus is not to be upon us in any way whether in our failures or accomplishments. The focus is to be upon Christ and His finished work at the Cross. The enemy however, will continue to apply pressure to drive you to religious works in order to make you believe that you will receive favor from men and God. At the same time he will pressure you to walk in guilt of your past failures and sins. Saints, demonic forces have been released in the earth and there are many temptations presently confronting God’s people. So remember, put on the full armor of God. Stay alert and remember who you are in Christ! They over came him by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony and they loved not their lives unto death,” glory! Come on let’s serve Him with joy and godly fear and tear the devil up and set the captives’ free. I am ready! So is Greg, my wonderful anointed husband. I want to encourage you to join us here at EMI and become partners with us by your prayers and your giving. We need your financial help in a time when many have stopped their giving because of economic problems in our nation. You, the church of the Lord Jesus Christ, must arise and plant your seed, your love gifts, your money into ministries that are reaching the lost, the bound, the hurting, the shattered, and scattered. We really are setting the captives free as our slogan declares. Please don’t forget us. We don’t have a church to pay our way. We need you, the individual, and believer’s everywhere, to give to a ministry like ours.
